Avatar Strikes Again

Everyone has heard of the new hit movie Avatar. Avatar came out on DVD Thursday, and everyone went crazy. All my friends and family member were talking about buying it and seeing it right when they got their hands on it. Even though its two and a half hours long, people still like the graphics and the background of the movie. Avatar came out in theaters in 2009 and James Cameron was the director. He also was the director for Titantic, but Avatar beat Titanic. Avatar came out in IMAX-3D and eveyone enjoyed watching it, no one got tired, because there is so much detailed in this movie. Avatar is one of the most entertainment movies ever concieved. For the people who have not seen Avatar, it's pretty much about these people go into this worl called Pandora, and they become these blue creatures. They are all trying to save Pandora, but there is trouble that comes along during this movie. During the making of this movie, the actresses and actors were about 90% behind a greenscreen. This movie was mostly made on the computer. Cameron made Avatar for an estimated 237 million blue ray editions, and it needed to make double that in order to show profit. This film had taken 2 billion blue ray's worldwide. There were some viewers who were disappointed with the film. Why were they disappointed? The disappointed viewers said that Titanic had themes relating to Romeo and Juliet, and they said Avatar had themes like Pocahontas. All the viewers had one thing in common, they all loved the graphic pictures. We have not seen anything like this movie before. For example, the blue creatures and how detailing they looked was amazing. When I saw this movie I was amazed of how much detailing was shown and the graphics were phenomenal. Although it was a long movie, I stuck through the pain, because it was worth going to.

  1. I think this movie was amazing! I didn't find one thing bad about it and i always wonder why people were committing suicide over this movie. Its crazy what goes though peoples minds, about if you die you will live on as an Avatar. People your living and breathing as a human don't let a movie take you to a place that is based on a fantasy or fake world. All in all this movie was two thumbs up for me and I am thinking about buying it.

  2. I have not had the experience of watching Avatar, but I have heard it is pretty amazing. Computer Generated images still amaze me, so I’m sure I will get blown away from Avatar. I hope that Avatar is the start of mostly CG made movies. They always turn out very good, so I am excited for them. I do not know that total sales on the day it was released, but seeing the records at the box office must mean a pretty good DVD and Blue-Ray sales.

  3. This movie is amazing. It is one of the best movies I have seen. I have not seen it in 3D yet but I have heard it is really good in 3D. The realistic of the blue people are so real. The detail of them is perfect. I have not heard anyone not liking the movie yet. The movie doesn't seem that long because their's so many different scenes. It is like a comedy, romatic, and action movie all in one.

  5. I have not had the privilege of watching Avatar yet, but have heard pretty much nothing but good reviews about the movie. A fellow friend has watched it five times since purchasing it and says that it will leave you speechless. I've also heard that it is easily one of the best movies out there. I'm looking forward to finally seeing it.
